Hometown: Brussels, Belgium

I started my yoga practice in 2013 at Metamorphose Yoga and Yoga Hanalei on the island of Kauai before moving to Maui. I was inspired to take a yoga teacher training with Michelle Lou Lan at MeshYoga before finding Mangala Yoga where I taught vinyasa for several years. Now I train almost entirely privately and teach at Blue Mango

Who/what influences your teaching and practice currently?

I am very influenced by the long-term. Everything I do presently, in yoga, in training, is designed to be part of a big picture approach to staying comfortable in my body for as long as possible. Taking care of this vessel and continuously strengthening it by making it tough and mobile is the driving force behind my yoga practice. Both as it applies to the asana and achieving spiritual neutrality.

How do you apply yoga practice to your every day life?

I choose three asanas at a time and work on them every day for a period of about three weeks. Then I move on to the next three.

What is a fun fact about you?

I am a citizen of Luxembourg

What can students expect from your class?

We will warm up quickly including five rounds of sun salutations. Peaking through a strength vinyasa flow and finishing with a long hold flexibility pose and 15 minute savasana. Sequences are designed to include strengthening for those desiring to incorporate handstands into their asana practice.

All levels are welcome.
